Global X-ray imaging medical device specialist Genoray (CEO Park Byung-wook) announced on the 29th that its product, 'HESTIA', has been selected in a mammography tender issued by the Turkish Ministry of Health.
Turkey, with its medical device market structure centered on government tenders, is one of Genoray's key strategic countries. Following last year's large-scale government tender success, this HESTIA supply contract allows the company to expand its product lineup within the local public healthcare market. The tender was conducted through the local subsidiary, and this contract marks the largest single-item order for HESTIA to date.
HESTIA is a strategic product introduced by Genoray to target the premium mammography market, featuring 3D Tomosynthesis technology and a 3D-upgradable structure. It has previously proven its technical reliability and quality stability through CE certification. The company attributes its competitive edge over global rivals to its ability to identify local demand through its Turkish subsidiary and its rapid manufacturing and delivery response capabilities.
Genoray has already established a portfolio in the Turkish C-arm and dental diagnostic device markets, and with this win, it plans to target both public tenders and the private market simultaneously.
A company official stated, "Following our recent global partnership with Shimadzu of Japan, this HESTIA tender win reaffirms our technological prowess," adding, "We plan to use Turkey as a hub for expanding into the Eurasian and Middle Eastern markets and continue our competitiveness in upcoming public tenders for C-arms."
